Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse sits at the entrance to Bonne Bay

Who We Are:
Late in 2018, a group of concerned residents around Bonne Bay felt a growing need to protect areas adjacent to the park from proposed developments that threaten the integrity and appeal of the area. The Friends of Bonne Bay was formed to provide a collective voice on issues related to the environmental and cultural health of both marine and coastal areas of the Bay. The founding meeting took place on December 11, 2018. The Friends of Bonne Bay was incorporated on March 15, 2019.
